Amazing Trunk and Great Customer Service Pros: Huge! and sturdy. My daughter loved having a choice of colors. This trunk served her well for three years at summer camp. Whatever damage was inflicted by the camp's shipping company was easily remedied with a call to C&N for replacement parts under the warrantee. Best investment in Summer fun that we have made. Cons: Heavy! But this is easily remedied with the wheel kit. Also, if you are shipping this trunk and its appearance is important to you, box it up if you can. Structurally, the trunk will survive, but the surface will become dented and scratched.

Rugged and Strong Pros: I'm very impressed byt he quality and ruggedness of this trunk. The hardware and the corner brackets are strong and durable. This trunk is solid! Cons: The trunk could stand to be even bigger. The website lists it as the largest size, appropriate for college. But a month or more at summer camp requires a large size. Taller and deeper would be good. Comments: The finish is easy to pain. My kid customized a plain black trunk with his own designs and it looks great!

Lifetime customer! Pros: Extremely sturdy! This footlocker will take my son's possessions back and forth to college for the next 3-4 four years. I got it in burgundy (college colors). I have another son who will go off to college next fall and he is looking forward to getting his footlocker. He has already picked out the colors. Cons: It would be great if the footlocker had retractable handles similar to those on a suitcase, making it easier to pull on the wheels. Excellent Product Pros: We bought 2 lockers 4 years ago for our sons that were going away to academy. Both have held up and are tough. The finish has held up really well. I like the large size, the lining inside the locker. The way the locker locks is very tough and DIFFICULT to remove. It's my daughter's turn to go away to school and we bought another locker. The new design of the tray sliding from side to side is great because in the old style tray, my boys ended up removing it from the locker and not using it because it was bulky and in the way. Cons: I wish there could be a slight discount if a person orders multiple lockers at one. Still, the quality of workmanship is there and this locker will last for a long time. Comments: One of my son's lockers needed some repairs and customer service was very proactive to get the problems repaired. So this company is serious about it's lifetime repair policy.

Construction Pros: Looks sturdy. Have not used it yet. Cons: Screws were loose on 2 side locks. Holes were too wide for them to grip. We replaced them - though now they stick out into the box a bit. Great quality Pros: Very sturdy. Very nice looking, quality trunk. It slides on carpet very easily, even when heavily laden. Otherwise, the two handles make it easy for two people to pick up. Cons: None other than very pricey, but you get what you pay for. Comments: I would like some more. Just need to save up.

An instant heirloom Pros: Large size, sturdy, heavy duty construction and strong locking clasp for peace of mind security. Cons: None. The price does make you think about going with a lesser brand; however, after receiving the trunk, I am glad I paid for the quality. You pay for what you get and this is the best trunk I've ever seen. Comments: Our Graduate Footlocker arrived this week. We brought this trunk for our son who will be starting college in a few weeks. I was instantly impressed with the sturdy construction, the solid hardware and the overall look and feel of quality. Unfortunately the graphics on the website do not do this trunk justice. Compared to the college trunks that my wife and I still own from our college days, I estimate this trunk from C&N to be more than twice as sturdy and durable. the large size and solid clasp hardware will be ideal for my son to store items at his college over the summer.
