Pros: Sturdy, keeps camp items organized, liner is fantastic, must get the Slide and Go, great colors, great for standing on to climb to upper bunk. Shipping speed was amazing Cons: Incredibly heavy and hard to carry, ouch those handles are awful! expensive Comments: We ordered this trunk the Sunday before our daughter left for camp, when the trunk we planned to borrow fell through. It arrived on Thursday, which still gave her plenty of time to enjoy the whole packing experience.
The trunk is incredibly sturdy, my kids were all jumping up and down on it, to verify that it truly is sturdy.
The liner on the inside of the trunk is a really great feature and protects the wood from any damp items.
Slide and go tray is a must have. Helps with the organization and keeping messy bathroom items separate in case they leak.
Organization of her clothing and accessories was so easy. Other friends had to dig through big duffel bags or suitcases, and she was able to just reach in, like she was going in a dresser drawer.
And, she had the top bunk, so it was useful to use for standing on to climb up into the bunk bed.
The only problem is that it is really heavy - even empty. We kept the cardboard box to store it in, to keep it from getting all dusty, but that does make it harder to lug up into the attic. And, the handles really really hurt my hands when I was helping her carry it.
We did not opt to get the wheels, because the reviews were mixed - and after going to her camp, I don't think they would have been much help, and might even have gotten lost. But, I still might consider them for next year, since my knuckles hurt just thinking back to carrying the fully loaded trunk!
All-in-all, extremely satisfied with this purchase and I know that it will last for many more years of camping! Store Response: Thank you for your review. My daughter has had her line green trunk for three yrs, and so just got a blue one for my son exactly like hers They love the fun colors and love their trunks The tray is a wonderful addition because unlike other trunks, it closes and is plastic, so will keep thing inside away from wet things. The slide part is nice too. The lid organizer is a must have, and really makes better use of the trunk space. Cons: Biggest con are the handles!!. They are very thin metal. Sturdy, yes, and so won't rot or break, but they absolutely cut your hands when carrying the trunk! We can't use wheels at out camp due to gravel / grass terrain, so this trunk has to be carried everywhere and those handles are killer bad! Also, my daughter's trunk is 3 yrs old. Used for 1 week camp 3 x. The cheap plastic rails that hold the sliding tray have broken off. Kids just got back from 1 week camp and there are deep scratches in bottom of both trunks from sliding them on a trailer and stacking other kids trunks. I wish the rails inside the trunk that hold the tray were made out of something more sturdy. Comments: Wonderful service. My son's trunk was delivered in three days without paying extra shipping. That was great!! Very sturdy trunk, just don't like the side carry handles. You should sell padding for them! Store Response: Thank you for your review. Pros: Very sturdy! This trunk can take a beating and still look like you just bought it. Comments: This is the second trunk I've bought in the last year. My older daughter took this trunk to camp last summer and it help up beautifully! It was loaded on a bus along with many others, no care was given to how many trunks were stacked on top of it, and it was not even scratched when it came home. My daughter used it for two weeks at camp and continues to use it at home to store everyday things and it still looks like new. The trunk I purchased this time is for my younger daughter who will be going away to camp for the first time this summer. The wheel away system is well worth the extra money since it has to be dragged across the grounds to and from the cabins. I would highly recommend this trunk to anyone!

Pros: It's heavy duty, well made, looks nice, great customer service should something unfortunately need their assistance (a minor issue but they corrected it ASAP and perfectly to our satisfaction). Cons: None that we can think of Comments: This is the second one we've ordered from them.

Pros: fits everything for 2 weeks in this perfectly sized trunk, very durable too. wouldn't take any other kind of bag to camp. Comments: love the tray that can be purchased separately.

Comments: I purchased this trunk for my son for Christmas so it hasn't been put to the test yet. The trunk arrived within a few days of my ordering, just when it was estimated to arrive. It seems well made, the latches work well and are easy to manipulate. I am looking forward to seeing my son use this trunk and get his reaction to it's performance.
