Camp Agawak

For over 100 years, Camp Agawak has been opening its forested gates to girls from all over the world to enjoy the splendor of Wisconsin’s natural forests, hills, and lakes. In fact, Camp Agawak has over one thousand feet of freshwater beachfront on Blue Lake and a full waterfront program including a water trampoline, water slide, and an entire fleet of small boats like canoes, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boards, and more. Camp Agawak is a Wisconsin girls' summer camp for kids and teens that combines rich traditions, creative programming, nurturing environments, and fun activities that help campers to form meaningful bonds, and learn more about themselves in the process.

Camp Agawak Activities

Camp Agawak features over 48 different activities for campers that help them to build motor skills, social skills, and even team-building skills during their time at camp. Camp Agawak is known for its drama and arts offerings and even has a stage with a dedicated costume room for the many productions and performances put on. Other Camp Agawak activities include:

Camp Agawak Packing List

Camp Agawak has different packing lists and rules based on the session your camper is attending, so make sure to check with the camp directly. The camp’s packing mantra is, “Pack for a week, not a session.” There are some more general rules based on each camp session outlined below.

Rookie Session I Packing Rules

  • 1 Duffle Bag or 2 small weekender-type bags.

Rookie Session II, Full Session, and Full Season Packing Rules

  • 2 Bags Up to 70 lbs - They will be weighed!

General Packing Guidelines

  • Old clothes are great for camp.
  • Do not send valuables or anything your camper would be upset to lose or have ruined.
  • No activity equipment is needed - advanced tennis players may bring their own racquets.
  • Send the recommended size of toiletry items like shampoo and conditioner to avoid waste.
  • Sleeping bags must fit inside your duffle.
  • Label everything!

Prohibited Items

  • Hanging Lights
  • Duct Tape
  • Push Pins
  • 3M sticky pads/hooks/lights
  • Electronics - Nothing that connects to the internet!
  • Mattress Pad Egg Crates
  • Hammocks
  • Inflatable Beach Toys
  • Food/Gum
  • No Hard Plastic Containers
  • No Pump Bottles on Soap


Camp Packing List

  • Sleeping Bag
