Hey, Camp Folks!

The recommended camp outfitter for nearly three hundred summer camps, we here at Everything Summer Camp are proud to work with every single one of them! And we love singing the praises of the many camps with whom we’ve developed a working relationship too. That’s why today I’m shining our camp spotlight to the east on Newfound Lake in Hebron, New Hampshire.

There, Camp Pasquaney was founded more than a hundred years ago back in 1895 by a man named Edward Wilson. Edward felt compelled to establish a summer camp as he knew the significance to young men that they spend their summers away from all the distractions and bustle of city life. Camp Pasquaney welcomes boys from 12 to 16 for seven weeks of fun and adventure.

The land where Camp Pasquaney was founded was a meadow at the time, looking out over Newfound Lake. The campsite has since developed adult trees all throughout, surrounding itself in woods. Located in the White Mountains, Pasquaney campers are treated to a powerful view from mountaintop each day to draw inspiration and a oneness with nature.

There’s all kinds of fun going on at Camp Pasquaney. Get in on great activities offered there like Baseball, Canoeing, Crew, Diving, Hiking, Nature, Sailing, Shop, Swimming, Tennis, Theater, Water Sports, and plenty more. In the second week of the camp stay, campers spend their days on a camping expedition, venturing to Plymouth Mountain to other New Hampshire lakes, and trails of the White Mountain National Forest.

For well over a hundred years, Camp Pasquaney has accelerated boys’ athletic, social, and intellectual development. They’ve seen great success in kick-starting kids on an awesome path through life. Check out their website for a closer look by clicking right here. As always, thanks for reading and happy camping!

Hey, Camp Folks!

Today, I’m highlighting the brother/sister camps found on the tip of Western North Carolina. We’re shining our summer camp spotlight southeast, just a stone’s throw away from South Carolina as well as Georgia. It’s time to shine our camp spotlight on a couple camps in the national forest down there, Camp Kahdalea for Girls and Camp Chosatonga for Boys.

Both of these gorgeous camps lie on 210 acres in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, bordered on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest. With such an enchanting setting, campers are treated to endless acres of spectacular mountain woodlands. The boys and girls camps are just a mile apart—each of them with its own separate campus with its own lake, clear bubbling streams, and hiking trails

Founded in 1979, this brother and sister camp duo is notorious for a remarkably wonderful staff, made up of awesome role models for your camper. They are dedicated to giving every child opportunities to make life-long friendships, to enjoy adventures and the challenges of all the fun stuff there is to do.

A quick rundown of activities they offer include Backpacking, Tennis, Horseback Riding, Swimming, Canoeing, the High Ropes Challenge Course, Nature Study, Mountain Biking, Drama, Sign Language, Arts & Crafts, Riflery, Rock Climbing, Archery, Fishing, Team Sports, Guitar, and more.

The boys at Chosatonga share the tennis court and riding facilities with its sister camp, Kahdalea. Both Chosatonga and Kahdalea have their own dining hall and lodge, recreation areas, cabins, lakes, and a number of other facilities where the above activities are held.

Make sure to let us know in the comments below if you’re going to Camp Chosatonga or Camp Kahdalea this summer camp season. Have a great stay. As always thanks for reading and happy camping!

Pali Adventures has cultivated this scenic spot to provide campers with a field for activities like Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Water Balloon Fights, and plenty more. The have Archery Ranges, a Swimming Pool, a Ropes Course, a 700+ foot Zipline, a Basketball Court/Skate Park, and ATV Tracks. A recent facility addition is the Huckleberry Hall—a grand dining hall used for eating and lots of other gatherings.

The cabins at Pali Adventures feature beautiful, solid wood with twin-size bunks built-in. The bunks have real mattresses for your camper’s comfort. The cabins are all designed to accommodate ten campers as well as two cabin leaders. Each cabin provides a private bathroom and shower facilities.
